TEN THINGS TO AVOID FOR A SMOOTH, SUCCESSFUL PHOTOSHOOT

Embarking on a photoshoot adventure? Fantastic! To ensure it's a fun, stress-free experience, here are ten things you might want to avoid:

Coaching Smiles:

• Natural expressions are the best! Avoid instructing your children on how to smile; we're experts at capturing their authentic joy.

Unnecessary Snacks:

• A few hours without snacks won't hurt. The excitement of the shoot is usually enough! If essential, keep them hidden until the perfect moment (as advised by your photographer).

Visible Toys:

• We adore personal touches but bring only toys you'd like in photos. Keep them out of sight initially to maintain focus on the shoot.

Electronic distractions:

• Hold off on the phones! They can distract more than help. Your photographer will suggest if and when they might be useful.

Extra Spectators:

• More people can mean more distractions. It's best to bring only those essential to the shoot to keep your child's attention on the camera.

Overpacked Schedule:

• Avoid the rush! Keep your day relaxed. The photoshoot should be a delightful highlight, not a squeezed-in task.

Wet Hair:

• Come with dry, ready-to-style hair. While clean is good, wet hair limits what we can achieve in terms of styling during the shoot.

• Aim for a trim about a week before your shoot. This buffer allows for fixes if needed and ensures hair looks natural.

New Clothes Without a Test Run:

• Avoid first-time outfits. Ensure clothes are comfortable and well-fitting, as discomfort shows in photos. Familiar, loved clothing contributes to genuine smiles!
