VIP Tokens Are Changing to Credits Here’s everything you need to know

We’ve made a BIG change to the Wild Berry VIP system and it’s one that’s going to give you much more flexibility when it comes to using your VIP plan.

Tokens are officially becoming CREDITS!

Before anybody panics at suddenly seeing much bigger numbers in their account, don’t worry. Your shoots haven’t suddenly become six times more expensive!

We’ve simply changed the way we measure your VIP balance.

Here’s exactly what’s changing, why we’ve done it and what it means for you.

Why are we changing from Tokens to Credits?

There was one frustrating limitation with our old Token system:

1 Token was the smallest amount we could use.

That meant we could offer a shoot for 1 Token, 2 Tokens or 3 Tokens but we couldn’t easily create smaller experiences that might only be worth half a Token or shoots that cost 2.5 tokens.

And we have LOTS of ideas for our VIPs!

Moving to Credits gives us much more flexibility.

The easiest way to understand the new system is:

1 old Token = 6 new Credits

So rather than working in large whole Tokens, we now have smaller Credits to play with.

It means we can create different types of shoots at different Credit values and, ultimately, give you more choice over how you use your VIP membership.

So, are my shoots costing more?

No!

The numbers might look bigger, but that’s simply because we’ve changed the scale.

For example:

An Adventure Shoot was 1 Token. It is now 6 Credits.

A Standard Shoot was 2 Tokens. It is now 12 Credits.

A Specialist Shoot was 3 Tokens. It is now 16 Credits.

There’s another BIG change…

And we think this one makes the new system even better.

Every VIP will now receive new Credits EVERY MONTH! 🎉

Previously, when you received your next Token depended on which VIP plan you were on. Some of you received them every six months, some every three months and some every month.

With the new system, Credits will be added to every VIP plan monthly.

Here’s what that looks like.

£29 VIP Plan

Previously:

2 Tokens on sign-up

1 Token every 6 months

Now:

12 Credits on sign-up

1 Credit every month

£49 VIP Plan

Previously:

3 Tokens on sign-up

1 Token every 3 months

Now:

18 Credits on sign-up

2 Credits every month

£99 VIP Plan

Previously:

4 Tokens on sign-up

1 Token every month

Now:

24 Credits on sign-up

6 Credits every month

So whichever VIP plan you’re on, you’ll now see Credits being added to your account every single month.

How many Credits are the shoots?

We’ve split our shoots into three main categories.

Adventure Shoots — 6 Credits

These are our shorter, themed and seasonal shoots, including experiences such as:

🎃 Pumpkin Spice

🧙 Witches & Wizards

👼 Angels

🎄 Christmas

❤️ Valentine’s Day

🧁 Little Bakers

🐰 Easter

🧚 Fairy

💕 Mummy & Me

💙 Daddy & Me

🎒 Back to School

These previously cost 1 Token and now cost 6 Credits.

And one of the really exciting things about the new VIP system is that you’re going to have lots more Adventure Shoots to choose from throughout the year!

Standard Shoots — 12 Credits

Our Standard Shoots include experiences such as:

Child • Family • Pet

These are our longer 90-minute portrait experiences.

They previously cost 2 Tokens and now cost 12 Credits.

Specialist Shoots — 16 Credits

Our Specialist Shoots include experiences such as:

Newborn • Extended Family • On Location

These previously cost 3 Tokens.

Under a straight Token-to-Credit conversion, 3 Tokens would equal 18 Credits.

However, Specialist Shoots will now cost just 16 Credits.

So these shoots actually require fewer Credits under the new system.

What does that mean in real life?

Let’s say you have 12 Credits available.

You could use them to book:

1 Standard Shoot for 12 Credits

OR

You could choose:

2 Adventure Shoots at 6 Credits each

So you might decide to use 6 Credits for Pumpkin Spice and another 6 Credits for Little Bakers.

Or perhaps there’s a bigger shoot you’ve got your eye on.

You can keep building your Credit balance until you have enough for the shoot you want.

That’s the beauty of the new system.

Your Credits give you the freedom to choose how you’d like to use your VIP membership.

Where can I see how many Credits I have?

This bit is really easy.

Log into your VIP account as usual.

Then head to:

My Account (top right corner) → My VIP Plan

Your current Credit balance will be displayed there.

So whenever you’re eyeing up your next Wild Berry shoot and wondering “Have I got enough Credits for that?”, that’s where you need to look.

And remember, your balance will continue growing as your new Credits are added each month.

Do I need to do anything?

Nope!

There’s nothing you need to set up or change.

Simply continue logging into your VIP account as usual.

You’ll now see Credits rather than Tokens, and you can check your balance at any time by going to:

My Account → My VIP Plan

Why are we so excited about Credits?

Because this change gives us so much more freedom with what we can offer you.

Under the old system, everything had to fit neatly into whole Tokens.

Now, we can create different experiences at different Credit values.

That means we have the flexibility to introduce smaller shoots, special experiences and lots more opportunities for you to get in front of the Wild Berry camera.

And believe us when we say…

we have LOTS planned. 👀

Our VIPs are going to have access to a growing collection of Adventure Shoots throughout the year, alongside our usual Wild Berry portrait experiences.

So you can choose the shoots that suit your family, save your Credits for something bigger, or use them for several Adventures throughout the year.

The important bit to remember

If all these numbers have made your head spin slightly, you really only need to remember three things:

1 old Token = 6 Credits

You’ll now receive new Credits every month.

You can see your balance anytime under My Account → My VIP Plan.

That’s it!

The new Credit system has been created to make your VIP membership more flexible and give us the freedom to offer you even more ways to use it.
